We will have all you need for the basic heart,  but this is where you get to make yours special with old jewelry, or beads or little treasures you've been saving for some reason.  Don't for get old buttons you've been saving, too.  You can make yours as plain or fancy as you like.

The yellow heart was created by Robin using a mouse charm she had with a yellow bead for the cheese!

Basic info for classes and workshops are that we like to include all supplies in our fees. No extra or unexpected expenses when you get here.  (In the punch needle workshops, we loan the needle because it is expensive and you might not want one rolling around in your doodad drawer if punching isn't your cup of tea after all.)

The fees are now posted including tax.

If there is something that you want to learn, please let us know and we will schedule a workshop. If you have friends who want to join you, we will schedule a time that is mutually convenient. Some projects may run a little longer that the time we have allotted. Feel free to stay and continue to stitch. If you want, stay anyway and plan to bring a bag lunch. We have a refrigerator, microwave and soft drinks available.

La D Da ProjectIt would be helpful if you brought your own scissors, magnifiers, pillows, or footstools that you need for comfortable stitching. Otherwise all supplies for each project is included in the fee.

A phone call or email will get you on the list, but only full payment guarantees a seat and a kit for the class.

There are other needlework techniques and arts that we are hoping to add to the mix as we can find the Saturdays and Sundays to fit them in. For example, Monica wants to teach a more involved class using several different stitches and a pretty picot edge. If there's enough interest, I'd like to have a waste canvas (on a sweatshirt) workshop and a duplicate stitch (on a sweater) workshop this spring, too. We're working on a beginner/intermediate hardanger project.
Anyone interested?

We are looking for a date on the calendar to have a "make up" day for those who need a little help finishing any of the projects that we worked on in the past year.
