Ornament Club

Our January Ornament of the Month Workshop will be on the 25th which is a Wednesday. Day class will be at 1pm in case we need to wait for the roads to clear. Evening class will be as soon as everyone can get here from work.
Our ornament was done on perforated paper and backed with wool felt. We omitted the button legs on our sample, too. The threads are pretty much the same. The kit includes all that you need except the black and the yellow beak color, but does include the red overdye if you wish.
Please let me know if you prefer the magazine version and what fabric you would like, or the perforated paper version on wool. The cost is the kit price.

Lizzie Kate's New Halloween Rules Club

The Boo club meets on the last Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 PM. Costs vary.

Each month Lizzie will issue a new part to the banner.

 

Ornament Club

The ornament of the month club meets on the 25th of each month from 6 to 8 PM. Costs to be determined.

Sampler Club

Create a new “original” sampler by pulling together bits of designs from all of those charts you have in your stash to produce an all new sampler – your very own original and unique piece of work. 

Join the Sample Club and learn how to use those “older” charts, left over fibers, and extra charms to create a new “original” sampler that you have created yourself.  This club meets the third Saturday of the month (few exceptions), for two hours of instruction, idea sharing and fellowship. Club members receive free charts, charms, linen and other gifts throughout the year. This club offers an opportunity to take your stitching skills outside the box in a stress-free environment.

Each stitcher starts with the same size of ground fabric and decides on a theme. Past stitchers have chosen themes such as wildflowers, acorns, Americana, sheep, music, bears and teapots. You can express your interests and have a lot of fun along the way!

Man of the Month Club

Mystery Sampler Club

We are excited to announce a "Mystery Sampler Club" from Brenda Gervais of Country Stitches-With Thy Needle & Thread. Everybody loves a good mystery and this promises to be just that!

This MYSTERY SAMPLER CLUB will be split up into 3 patterns, with the first being released May 17, 2011. The original design uses a Weeks Dye Works Linen in the color called "linen" and 18 skeins of Weeks Dye Works Floss! You can use any linen of your choice, of course. I have pre-ordered 30 & 35 count Weeks linen.

We will gather every other Tuesday to work on the mystery stitchery together. (5/17 & 5/31.... 6/14 & 6/28 .... 7/12 & 7/26) Attendance is certainly not mandatory for any or all of the gatherings. It's all just for fun!

The initial cost of the fibers, fabric and first chart will be $65. This includes the fabric, threads and chart. If you would like just the chart, it sells for $7.50. So, will the second and third charts.

Please let me know if you wish a chart or a kit reserved for you. I have only a few supplies pre-ordered at this time .... depending on your interest. So, I'm excited to hear from you and to see who and how many of you want to stitch this mystery with me.

2010 - Buzz Club

Twelve fun little bees with different wings each month. Stitch them individually or all in a row. Above is the whole series as stitched by Pat.

  The sample is stitched on 30ct Straw linen from Weeks Dye Works.  Floss colors are to be determined.  Each bee is 40w x 71h. The row will be 71h x 480w.

One chart was released each month beginning on January 20, 2010
